Summary/Abstract: In this article we examined the semantic characteristics of nouns and the gender referee of the collocations with comparisons in the Russian language. The gender asymmetry in the phraseology is noticed about the quantity and as well the quality not only in the relation of gender, but also towards the axiological characteristic of men and women. Тhe changes which are part of the phraseological-lexicological sources in the gender stereotype are marked.
