Summary/Abstract: Legal customs and in particular, proverbs become the subject of collecting, codification and extensive and deep study. This article draws attention to a comparative study of Russian and Bulgarian legal proverbs formed by everyday life and traditions and reflecting the national mentality and character. Similarity and differences are revealed in relation to law.
