Summary/Abstract: The study of both general and national-specific features characterizing the conceptual fields of MIND – STUPIDITY, determined by intra- and extralinguistic (historical, religious, cultural) factors, indicates the cognitive and emotional-evaluative importance of the corresponding fragments of the outlook of the world in the Russian and Bulgarian languages, in the mentality of representatives of two linguacultures, are important in the study of these languages, in improving intercultural communication.
