Summary/Abstract: Phraseologisms of this group are related to evaluation. All evaluation is relative as it depends on empathy. Evaluation in phraseological units (PU) is related to a person’s appearance, gestures, character traits and mental abilities as well as to objects and phenomena of the surrounding reality, etc. In order to create a comic effect and achieve greater expressiveness, the visual foundations of the PU group under consideration are built on diverse models using various artistic techniques.
