Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the idioms, which form a heterogeneous domain in terms of motivation. Attention is focused on a group of units motivated by conceptual indexation. The specificity of these units is that not individual components of meaning, but the semantic (conceptual) organization of the phrase corresponds to the concept at the basis of the current phraseological semantics. Attention is drawn to the role of the internal form as a scheme of semiosis.
