Summary/Abstract: The essay traces the author’s academic journey from Bulgaria to Canada, examining the personal and professional transition into Canadian higher education. At its core lies the theme of teaching as a process of lifelong learning and adaptation to new cultural and educational realities. The author shares the challenges of integrating into the Canadian academic environment, as well as the transformation of the classical disciplines through interdisciplinarity, innovative methods, and technologies.
