Summary/Abstract: The syntactic features of spoken discourse in general and using the example of the German language are considered. The syntax is determined by the extra linguistic parameters of spoken speech. In German, the syntax of spoken discourse assumes the presence of shorter sentences with loosened structure by moving individual elements out of the frame, omitting structural elements. The special features of the syntax are the use of the principles of linguistic economy, linguistic redundancy, syncretism and looseness of the sentence structure.
