Summary/Abstract: The increasing reliance on information and communication technologies (ICT) in education has underscored the importance of ensuring data availability, security, and integrity. Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle, are critical tools in modern education, enabling the management of educational resources, assessments, and learner progress. This paper proposes a structured and practical approach to backing up and restoring Moodle-based educational platforms. The approach is designed to ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and comply with best practices in information security. The method is supported by empirical testing in a real educational environment and can be easily adapted to other institutions.
