Summary/Abstract: In 2014, the Romanian Academy Publishing House released the volume Raymund Netzhammer in Romania, in the Footsteps of the Spirit of the Place, coordinated by Violeta Barbu and Nikolaus Netzhammer. The material reproduces a series of articles by the Benedictine archbishop, printed in Salzburg in the journal Katholischen Kirchenzeitung, from the period when the Catholic prelate was a professor at the archdiocesan seminary. As the author of the preface, Violeta Barbu, notes, “continuing the valorization of the legacy left by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bucharest Raymund Netzhammer, the editors have selected, in the Restitutio section, a group of articles published by him in foreign and Romanian journals, most of them in German, to which is added Erinnerungen an Staatsminister Sturdza.”
