Summary/Abstract: The heretical movements are one of the most prolific chapters of the history of Christianity, a history often marked by informational deficiencies, but also by fascinating testimonies of ways to solve dogmatic dilemmas. As in the case of other heresies, in the case of Paulicianism too, historical research can not provide us irrefutable evidence of doctrinal-historical evolution or a framework that would fully circumscribe the religious views of this community. Consequently, this article tries not so much to offer, as much to search, an answer to the issue of uniqueness or plurality of heretical currents called Paulicianism.
