Summary/Abstract: The article presents Slavaykov’s translation of the Bible from 1871 as a cultural and historical artifact of high value. The original Slaveykov's Bible is kept in the Petko and Pencho Slaveykov House Museum. The artefact is movable cultural heritage of national importance and has high bibliophilic value. The well-preserved copies from the first edition are extremely limited. The proposed financial and insurance valuation of Slaveykov's Bible is approximately BGN 3,000. The paper outlines the need for protection through property insurance, restoration, and digitization of the artefact.
