Summary/Abstract: The article presents a complex expertise, financial value and assessment of insurable value of an archaeological artifact from the collection of the Regional History Museum in Yambol. It is a marble voluntary tablet of the mother goddess Cybele from II-III century AD. The artefact was donated to the museum in 2021 and up to now it has not undergone any restoration or conservation work and is in the process of identification. This publication presents the first expertise, financial valuation and insurable value of the artefact. Following the comparative, market approach we propose a valuation of the artifact between BGN 59,400 and BGN 62,700.
