Summary/Abstract: This report provides a comparative analysis of doctoral programs from EU and non-EU countries that are analogous to the doctoral program "Economics and Management (Industry)" in Bulgaria. It examines selected European and other international universities, focusing on the general characteristics of these doctoral programs, curricula, research topics, faculty research interests, and career prospects for graduates who obtain the educational and scientific degree "Doctor". Furthermore, the report identifies key challenges and opportunities regarding the quality of these comparable doctoral programs in Bulgaria and abroad.
