Summary/Abstract: Globalization and the rapid development of technologies have completely changed the criteria and approaches for strategic human resource management, including their roles in achieving competitiveness. The development of digital infrastructure in the management of technological and administrative processes brings to the forefront several essential issues related to the successful management of people in organizations, including: the motivation to acquire new knowledge and skills for working with digital devices, the availability of trainers, the level of education, the age structure and the trend towards aging of technologically and economically developed nations. The report emphasizes the substantive characteristics of the concept of "digital competence", "total quality management" and the process management of change in human resources and quality management in a digital environment.
