Summary/Abstract: Climate change, as a victimization factor, is a very important and scientific problem that requires a multidisciplinary scientific approach to realize the interests and needs of victims of natural disasters, as well as individual human rights related to the right to life as an elementary human right. In addition, climate change must also be viewed in terms of preventing natural disasters, pollution, endangerment or damage to the environment. In this context, Bosnia and Herzegovina recognized and, in accordance with international obligations, adopted certain strategies related to adapting to climate change in the future. However, it did not arrange special legal protection for victims of climate change in accordance with European recommendations, as well as other ratified international documents. Climate injustice or justice for victims of climate change is not defined in Bosnia and Herzegovina by criminal law regulations and it is necessary to harmonize it in order to avoid conflicts, namely at the national, entity and local level. The victimological discourse related to climate change requires urgent legislative changes or the adoption of special laws that will enable legal protection for victims of climate injustice, as well as compensation from the state for these victims. The authors designed the Paper to present the needs and interests of the victims of climate change, along with the best measures of legal protection and prevention of future victimization. Without the adoption of European legal regulations in this area as well - it is not possible for Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a member of the European Union.
