Summary/Abstract: The Japanese school year is organized somewhat differently than in European countries. There are some interesting things about the Japanese attitude towards school that do not exist anywhere else in the world and are unique only to their nation. The PISA tests, on which Japanese students achieve excellent results in mathematics, reading skills and natural sciences for years, show that in successful educational systems citizens value education because the economy and the state pay for knowledge. Another important fact is that achievement is the result of hard work and effort, not innate intelligence. Which indicates that the social context in which education takes place greatly affects its success and quality in work. The digitization of their educational system is visible at every step, from preschool to higher education institutions. The growth of digital technology in the Japanese education system has played a key role in maintaining continuity in learning amid disruptive forces. By harnessing the power of modern technologies like eSIM, Japan has successfully advanced its commitment to digital inclusion in education. The goal of this paper is to present the specifics of their educational system with a focus on the organization of work and digitalization of the teaching process.
