Summary/Abstract: The author, firstly, critically examines the very notion of ecofeminism and ecofeminist movement, as well as points at its twofold source, i.e. feminist and ecologist theory and practice. Secondly, the author discusses (dis)connection between ecofeminism and feminist bioethics, advocating their unity in a more comprehensive theoretical-practical framework. Finally, the author shows how ecofeminism and feminist bioethics can and should be included into the project of integrative bioethics, which is based on the concepts of interdisciplinarity, pluriperspectivity and integrativity, as well as orientational knowledge and meaning-truth. Throughout the text, the author tries to prove the thesis that ecofeminism should not be perceived as mere “ecology for women”.
