Summary/Abstract: If education is, to a large extent, an art, then mentoring is certainly, to a large extent, an art as well. In attempting to define and characterize a good mentor teacher, we will refer primarily to the results obtained through bibliographic research, but also to the shared experience in mentoring, shaped as a result of promoting mentoring in education.
