Summary/Abstract: The research is focused on the presence of the Slovenian and Bulgarian poets at the renowned international poetry festival Struga Poetry Evenings, one of the oldest poetry festivals in the world, which takes place each year in Struga on Ohrid Lake. It should be noted that among the laureates of the highest recognition awarded by the Struga Poetry Evenings, the “Golden Wreath” award for poetic output, are one Slovenian poet – Tomaž Šalamun in 2009 and one Bulgarian poet – Ljubomir Levchev in 2010. In the context of presenting national poetries, an anthology of contemporary Slovenian poetry was published in 2013, while in the “Pleiades” edition, several Slovenian and Several Bulgarian poets are represented with separate poetry collections. Struga Poetry Evenings as one of the most significant culture manifestations in Macedonia today has an important role in the reception of the Slovenian and Bulgarian poetry.
