Summary/Abstract: This report discusses some peculiarities in the expression of reportative attitude within the category of evidentiality in the Bulgarian and Slovenian languages. Evidentiality is considered in the field of the broader grammatical category of modality and the Bulgarian renarrative forms of the verb, serving for the formation of renarrative, conclusive and dubitative, and the Slovenian particles baje and menda are compared in functional-semantic aspect.
