Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present Bulgarian, Macedonian and Slovenian youth literature in representative international monographs and institutions. The international interest in the South Eastern Europe so-called countries has increased between the Fall of the Berlin Wall 1989 till 2010. Before that the international monographs were Anglo-American -oriented, and between 1990 and 2010 they partially represented children’s literature in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Slovenia. After 2010 the international monographs will concentrate on so-called international children’s literature.
