Summary/Abstract: Boblen is one of the old Bulgarian villages in the Pravishte region (Aegean Macedonia). It is attested inwritten sources from the 11th century. The article examines anthroponymic material from the village, based on data from the Ottoman tax register from the 15th and 16th century. The comparison of the anthroponymic data with those from Western Thrace and the Southern Rhodopes shows common features of the anthroponymic picture from these parts of the Bulgarian linguistic land.
