Summary/Abstract: The report addresses the key role of leadership in the development of Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0. It presents a comparative analysis of Japan and the European Union, examining the different approaches used to design strategic frameworks for public governance that support a human-centered society, where economic development and the resolution of social challenges coexist harmoniously through the integration of cyberspace and physical space. Furthermore, the report discusses the potential challenges that may arise during the implementation of Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0, taking into account the position of humans and the role they may assume in interactions with technology.
