Summary/Abstract: The paper considers school volunteering as an important pedagogical and social tool for building civic activity, empathy and personal responsibility among students. On the basis of a literary review and analysis of good practices, a model for the creation of a school volunteer club is presented, which integrates the principles of learning through action, teamwork and cooperation between the school, the family and the community. The study justifies that such a club not only stimulates the development of communicative, social and leadership skills, but also improves the school climate, creating an environment of trust and mutual assistance. Stages have been proposed for building the club – from information and motivation to initiatives and reflection – as well as guidelines for sustainable functioning. In conclusion, it is stressed that school volunteering must be a strategic element of the educational process that promotes the humanity, active citizenship and social responsibility of young people.
