Summary/Abstract: The report has as its subject artificial intelligence with the subject of manifestations of artificial intelligence in higher education, in particular in training and research. The focus is on intellectual property rights. The relevance is undeniable in view of the multifaceted presence of artificial intelligence in business and academia. The aim is: to present the problems facing the intellectual property system when using artificial intelligence in education and research, such as copyright and patent rights. The author's thesis is: the need for in-depth knowledge of intellectual property rights when using artificial intelligence in universities. The issues of artificial intelligence in higher education administration remain outside the scope.
