Summary/Abstract: For students and teachers, educational software is a way to satisfy recent needs related to the development of human potential, the consolidation of new types of information processing and new ways of carrying out specific therapy. These, in addition to facilitating a wide range of educational activities, help children with disabilities to take an active role in the learning process and reach their full potential for development. The teacher's intervention cannot be replaced by the computer, but the teacher with the help of dedicated educational software can improve the basic school skills of children with learning difficulties. The therapeutic processes carried out in the school by the three actors involved (therapist, child, family) benefit in this case from the contribution of a valuable tool represented by the computer, which contributes to the success of the therapeutic approach. Under the careful supervision of the adult, the computer can become a very useful tool in the therapeutic and educational act of the child with special educational requirements, regardless of his deficiencies (sensory, motor, learning difficulties).
