Summary/Abstract: Globalization processes in the contemporary world impact all major spheres of activity. They influence not only the economic and political landscape of different countries but also the evolution of language. These processes are particularly evident in the banking sector. While banking products are primarily offered in English, their growing international availability necessitates the search for appropriate terminological equivalents in other languages. In Eastern European countries, including the Russian-speaking world and, specifically, Bulgaria, private banking has developed rapidly over recent decades. Consequently, the Russian and Bulgarian lexicons now incorporate numerous specialized English terms that previously had no equivalents, posing challenges for translators, specialists, educators, and students alike. This article employs authentic English, Russian, and Bulgarian materials to conduct a comparative analysis of the semantic and grammatical development of selected banking terms and to propose a systematization of these terminological correspondences.
