Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on relatively new words related to technology and digitalisation that have recently appeared in the English language. The first goal is to identify the most productive word formation patterns in Present-Day English in the fields under discussion and to provide, if possible, some explanations for their widespread use. The second goal builds upon the first and focuses on implications for foreign language teaching and digital transformation.
