Summary/Abstract: The drama “Vladimir” is one of the most successful Slovenian dramas abroad. Due to its classical form, small number of actors, convincing dialogue, typical characters and exceptional suspense, it is a universal work that is not limited to the Slovenian environment. Universality allows the drama to be transferred to various foreign-language literary contexts. The inclusion of the Bulgarian theatrical space, made possible by Professor Lyudmil Dimitrov, was successful because the horizon of expectations of Bulgarian audiences is accustomed to works that are interpreted on multiple levels. Lyudmil Dimitrov's interpretation and the transfer to the Bulgarian theatrical space have enriched Slovenian drama with an interpretation that the Slovenian reception has not been so attentive to.
