Summary/Abstract: In the context of a dynamic and highly competitive environment in the tourism sector, data literacy is emerging as a key competency for effective management and sustainable development of tourism enterprises. This study explores the role of analytical thinking and the ability to interpret, process, and utilize data as a foundation for offering personalized tourism services, developing targeted marketing strategies, and making informed managerial decisions. The importance of data is emphasized in understanding consumer behavior and preferences, identifying market trends, and optimizing resources. By analyzing the best practices and examples from the tourism industry, the present study highlights the necessity of enhancing digital and analytical literacy among employees and managers in the sector. The aim is to raise awareness of the strategic value of data and to encourage its integration into decision-making processes within tourism management.
