Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present some unconventional methods of teaching Bulgarian as a foreign language to Polish students. It describes the benefits of those methods for the quicker, more productive and stress-free learning of the language. These methods include the various use of language games, Bulgarian songs and films, the performing of plays and drama exercises in Bulgarian, as well as taking part in outclass events related to Bulgarian holidays and customs, and publishing own students’ periodical.
