Summary/Abstract: This study investigates how team organization influences team effectiveness, with a focus on structural clarity and the definition of roles within teams. Drawing on data from 141 IT professionals across 40 organizations, the research uses the Team Diagnostic Survey framework and a five-point Likert scale to assess team dynamics. Exploratory factor analysis revealed two key dimensions of team organization: team structure and roles/responsibilities. Subsequent regression analysis demonstrated that team structure—encompassing team size, clarity of membership, and stability—had a significant positive impact on team effectiveness, measured through job satisfaction and employee motivation. In contrast, clearly defined roles and responsibilities did not show a statistically significant effect. These findings highlight the importance of structural elements in enhancing team performance, suggesting that while clarity is essential, adaptability and overall team composition may play a more critical role in driving team success.
