Summary/Abstract: Achieving energy efficiency and environmental protection are two of the main challenges that management of industrial companies faces. In recent years, EU countries have faced a number of challenges such as rising energy prices as a result of a harsh political and economic environment, changes in energy management policies, the necessity to introduce new technological solutions for energy efficiency and business competitiveness enhancement in times of increased competition for highly skilled staff. The high energy intensity of production in some industrial companies is a major obstacle to the introduction of energy management measures. We summarized some factors influencing effective energy management. We analyzed the energy management policy of an industrial enterprise on the example of Levantes Ltd and possible practical solutions for its optimization. We provided recommendations on the possible funding sources for the proposed project solutions taking into account the need for environmental protection and implementation of sustainable management solutions.
