Summary/Abstract: This paper systematizes and analyzes errors in the learning of aorist forms by Serbian-speaking students. Despite the formal analogy in the systems of past verb tenses in Serbian and Bulgarian (aorist, imperfect, perfect, plusquamperfect), even at the beginning of the Bulgarian language training for Serbian students aorist forms create many difficulties. Mistakes made by advanced students are the motivation for this research.
