Summary/Abstract: This paper intends to present the need of using virtual learning platforms like Moodle as a part of the academic education. It is based on personal experience with the Moodle platform and other e-based learning platforms. The paper presents the benefits of using e-based environments as an additional instrument to conventional face-to-face academic courses.
