Summary/Abstract: The article explores the role of theatre as a means of social integration for children with hearing impairments. It emphasizes the importance of art in emotional and social development and its potential to overcome barriers. Data on the prevalence of hearing loss globally and nationally are presented, along with successful international and Bulgarian practices. Special focus is placed on art therapies, including puppet theatre, as effective tools for working with children with special needs. A case study is described, showing positive outcomes in the development of speech and social skills.
