Summary/Abstract: Early foreign language education requires approaches that differ from those in adult language instruction. In this context, a study was conducted with the aim of determining whether educational puppetry, as a pedagogical tool in early foreign language instruction, can enhance the effectiveness of the learning process while simultaneously serving as a stimulus for positive behavior. The research was carried out with a mixed-age group of children in a kindergarten setting, through a series of English language lessons incorporating a puppet characterized by its own specific backstory, frequent absentmindedness, and challenging behavior. The findings indicate that the puppet’s presence in the classroom contributes to rapid progress in foreign language acquisition while at the same time fostering group cohesion and promoting constructive social interaction both within and beyond the classroom environment.
