Summary/Abstract: Magic is a synthesis of experiences that encompass in a specific-individual way the perception, knowledge and transformation of personal experience in real and imaginary situations. In childhood, the fusion between the real and imaginary world is filled with bright images, impressive pictures, characteristic movements and sounds, iridescent colors, saturating the child’s need to share what intrigues him. The doll introduces the child into the space of world perception and self-expression elements of the attitude towards life and art. The multifaceted, multi-layered animation of the puppet characters paves a path between reality in its dynamics and the magic of its re-creation. The magical reality is the necessary flight in childhood, and the world of dolls gives wings to this flight. In order for the children to grow up in the atmosphere of creative flight, it is necessary to be introduced to the world of symbolism and allegory, to master the skills to read different positions and, taking them into account, to enter into role-playing communication. Puppet theater reveals a wealth of opportunities for transitions from narration to self-expression in verbal communication. Two important criteria stabilize the child’s behavior – realistic assessment and truthfulness of the experience. This is achieved with age maturation and building competencies achieved in educational interactions, while preserving the originality and uniqueness of each child.
