Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) will potentially have a significant impact on jobs. It is predicted that the application of artificial intelligence will create more jo b s than the number of jobs that will be extinguished due to its application. As part of the work, a comparative study was conducted in seven OECD countries (Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America) on the impact of AI on workplaces, with the aim of examining workers' perceptions of the current and future impact of AI. Countries with strong economies and higher DESI scores tend to invest more in AI technologies, driving transformative advances. Strengthening labor market institutions, promoting collective bargaining and ensuring responsible corporate engagement are cornerstones for direction in this transformative era. Relevant research indicates that AI will not reduce the number of jobs, but that they will be transformed.
