Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the project we have undertaken at Sofia University is to create and develop research databases dedicated to the media environment in Bulgaria. These databases are already being created, stored, and updated to serve as a resource for researchers, journalists, scholars, observers, and analysts, providing a more comprehensive picture of the issue. At the same time, we strive to create a network of researchers, journalists, and scholars, and, by organizing and conducting annual studies of the media environment in Bulgaria, not only for the purposes of the project but also in the long term, to attempt to engage in an annual meta-analysis of researchers’ interpretations in various publications.
