Summary/Abstract: This report examines the specifics of the accounting system of the judicial authorities in the Republic of Bulgaria – courts, prosecution (incl. investigation departments) and presents the basic elements of its organizational structure in compliance with the existing legislation and applicable practices. The aim of this report is to show that there are unused opportunities for improving the accounting system in the management of judicial activity in Bulgaria as a structural element of the public sector of the country.
