Summary/Abstract: Our current economic system is driven by a growth-at-any-cost mentality. In reality, economic growth alone does not mean a better life because it does not take into account inequalities, social relations, health or how people spend their free time. All this necessitates the emergence of new indicators that measure not only the improvement of the economy as a whole, but the improvement of specific aspects of people in society that lead to sustainable development.
