Summary/Abstract: Administrative burdens are the current focus of law-making and regulatory frameworks in modern democratic societies. The understanding that citizens and businesses are customers of the public sector requires a change in the concept on which their relationships are structured in order to achieve higher levels of efficiency, transparency and accountability. Opportunities to improve accessibility to public goods, their equitable distribution to reduce inequalities and create positive experience associations include tools and practices such as the digitisation of public services, the streamlining of administrative procedures and the implementation of integrated platforms that bring together multiple services in one place.
