Summary/Abstract: In the current conditions of a changing economic and social environment, network management appears as a natural step in the evolution of management methods in the public sector. Network governance does not reject but builds on previous models of public governance. It integrates their main advantages and adds new positive elements: widening the range of actors, using their capacities, social links and shared responsibilities in terms of achieving the objectives of public structures. Decentralisation of state structures leads to a greater level of ownership by the different actors and builds a more cohesive environment of cooperation between the different stakeholders.
