Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this article is to discuss how the policy of the Government of Iván Duque andthe COVID-19 pandemic influenced the issue of human rights violations in Colombia. Firstly, will beanalyzed the aggressions against protestors during the massive demonstrations, better known as the2021 Colombian protests. Subsequently, will be presented gender-based violence in Colombia. Additionally,the murders of former FARC-EP combatants and the assassinations of social leaders and humanrights defenders will be discussed. The conclusions summarize the arguments presented in the article,which correspond to the hypothesis.
