Summary/Abstract: We will focus on two prominent figures, two deans who are pioneers with merits for the successful creation and development of the faculty. They are the founder of the Department of Journalism and the Faculty of Journalism, Prof. Stefan Bonev Stanchev, who was born on June 14/27, 1914, in Razgrad, 110 years ago, and Prof. Dr. Todor Dimitrov Petev, who headed the faculty team at the beginning of our country's transition to democracy, who was bornon May 14, 1944, in Pordim, 80 years ago. And not only because of their milestone birthdays, but because their work and creativity mark the most important qualitative changes in the history of the faculty.
