Summary/Abstract: In general, resources have multiple roles for society, are essential for the economy, and in some situations can be generators of disputes between states. Some of these are referred to as strategic resources from a national security perspective. This paper presents the main types of strategic resources, divided into human, material, financial and technological resources. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the strategic role of these four types of resources.
