Summary/Abstract: Carrier Strike Groups (CSGs) offer strategic adaptability and operational reach over large distances making them essential capabilities for the projection of maritime power globally. In deterrence operations CSGs are vital parts of contemporary naval forces especially within the context of NATOs strategic framework. This paper examines how crucial CSGs are to supporting allied deterrence operations and enabling maritime power projection. It also discusses the effects of NATOs Neptune Strike series of events, managed by STRIKFORNATO and goes over the limitations of employing aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean Sea, considering the geopolitical difficulties in the area. This project illustrates CSGs critical role in preserving regional stability and deterring possible enemies by examining their operational capabilities and strategic value.
