Summary/Abstract: Material culture, more often called the cultural production of society, emerges from and is also shaped by the non-material aspects of culture. It is everything we value, know and believe in, but also what we do together in our daily lives as it affects the things we do. By tracing the development of the Cypriot historical and cultural tradition, we can claim that it is abundant and dates back to the seventh millennium BC. In its activities, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of Cyprus actively collaborates with the implementation of the cultural policy, working at national level with all state and municipal bodies, as well as with private ones. Active cooperation with several foreign cultural institutes is also noted, with the most dynamic activities carried out by the Commission for Culture of the EU, the UNESCO Commission in Cyprus, the British Council, the French Cultural Institute, the Goethe Institute, the Cervantes Institute, the Institute of Innovations and Traditions at Cana￾dian State University and many others. etc.
