Summary/Abstract: The relevance of this theoretical study is determined by the importance of the psychological typologies of police informants for their recruitment, motivation and supervision in the process of their activities in the detection and prevention of various criminal acts. The theoretical analysis includes an interpretation of the problems arising in the creation and use of psychological typologies of informants in operational police practice and the options for constructively overcoming them.
